    Se estrenó un documental de cannabis medicinal en el Gaumont

    El film es dirigido por la investigadora del CONICET, Sara Silvia Kochen y el editor Emiliano Serra.

    Este jueves 11 de mayo se estrenó el documental “Cannabis Medicinal” en el cine Gaumont. El film, dirigido por Sara Silvia Kochen y Emiliano Serra, aborda el uso del cannabis como una cuestión de derecho a la salud. La premier con los directores será a las 19 horas.

    “En el 2020 hicimos un pre documental con integrantes de la red del CONICET y de mamás que cultivan y empezamos a pensar la idea de un documental”, explicó Kochen.

    Según indicó la investigadora, el rodaje del film comenzó en enero de 2022 con el objetivo de hacer un documental que muestre los distintos saberes por parte de la comunidad sobre el cannabis y la salud.

    “El gran desafío era recoger esos saberes junto con los saberes de la académica como puede ser el CONICET”, afirmó la profesional e indicó que la idea era ir construyendo conocimiento.

    Kochen explicó que el documental es federal e internacional ya que cuenta con testimonios nacionales y de otros países. Un ejemplo de eso es la participación del ex presidente de Uruguay, José “Pepe” Mujica o Raphael Mechoulam, químico de la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalem, que falleció en marzo pasado, entre otros.

    Sobre el film la investigadora señaló que también hay participación de cannabicultores nacionales y que otro de los objetivos era hacer hincapié en las políticas sobre salud.

    “En el documental hay cultivadores históricos como las ONGs que crearon una red clandestina, por la ilegalidad en el país, que dieron respuesta a la comunidad”, aseguró.

    La coordinadora de la Red de Cannabis de Uso Medicinal e Industrial (RACME) afirmó que el documental tiene un aspecto coral ya que “da lugar a todas las voces”. “Hay una horizontalidad” con respecto a las historias y testimonios “en pie de igualdad”.

    En lo que respecta al trabajo conjunto con Serra, Kochen afirmó que ya había trabajado con el editor en otro film. “Apareció un vínculo mágico y fue muy divertido hacer el documental con él, ambos como directores”, agregó.

    REPROCANN

    En Cannabis Medicinal hacen mención al registro de cultivadores de cannabis (REPROCANN) y tiene una intervención su coordinador y vicepresidente de ARICCAME, Marcelo Morante. El permiso permite cultivar y transportar cannabis a las personas inscritas como usuarias medicinales de la planta.

    “Marcelo tiene un lugar protagónico pero no solo él sino también Sebastián Basalo, uno de los fundadores de la Revista THC, que cuenta esta historia clandestina y solidaria, también Mamá Cultiva”, detalló Kochen, entre otros protagonistas.

    Proyecciones del documental

    La primera función se realizó este jueves a las 12 del mediodía en el cine Gaumont, tendrá su premier desde las 19 horas y contará con 5 funciones diarias. El documental seguirá hasta el 17 de mayo y, dependiendo del público que asista, podrá extenderse algunos días más.

    “A partir del 14 o 15 de mayo llegará a Tandil en un espacio INCAA”, adelantó Kochen y agregó: “La idea es que aparezca en los espacios INCAA de todo el país y en salas interesadas, ya que es un aporte más para seguir charlando”.

    Marcha Mundial de la Marihuana

    El pasado sábado 6 de mayo se dio, como cada año, la Marcha Mundial de la Marihuana, en la que distintos actores de la comunidad cannábica hacen diferentes reclamos. 

    “Yo siempre voy a las marchas y creo que es muy importante”, señaló Kochen. “El producto de la marihuana no tiene dosis letal, no hay ningún reporte de muerte por uso del cannabis, no tiene efectos adversos severos”, explicó e indicó que la “adicción” de la que se habla puede aparecer pero de manera leve con el THC.

    Además, afirmó que se están realizando investigación para utilizar el cannabis como una salida para pacientes con adicciones severas como el cigarrillo o el alcohol. “No hay ninguna justificación, del punto de vista de salud, para que esté prohibida”, insistió.

    Feria del Libro

    La RACME participó de la Feria del Libro dentro del espacio que les otorgó el CONICET en el evento. “Desde ese lugar nos ofrecieron armar una mesa sobre cannabis”, detalló Kochen e indicó que cada integrante contó su experiencia con la planta. “Estamos avanzando”, concluyó.
