    Encuentro de «Producción y Regulación del Cannabis» en el Alto Valle

    En el evento organizado por el municipio de General Roca en Río Negro, participó el Senasa y otros organismos públicos, privados y productores de la zona.

    El pasado viernes se realizó el encuentro “Producción y Regulación del Cannabis sativa L. en Argentina” llevado a cabo por la Municipalidad de General Roca, Río Negro. En el evento participó el Servicio Nacional de Sanidad de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (Senasa), entre otros organismos públicos y privados.

    “Esto es parte de un trabajo coordinado entre el municipio de General Roca y organismos nacionales como el INASE, el INTA y el Senasa, ya que nos interesa aportar a la diversificación productiva, sin olvidar nuestra característica frutihortícola”, afirmó la intendenta de la localidad, María Emilia Soria.

    La funcionaria aseguró que el objetivo es aportar a la industrialización del cáñamo y al uso medicinal del cannabis, “sumando mano de obra cualificada en actividades como estas que tienen mucho potencial”.

    A su turno, el director nacional de Articulación Federal del Instituto Nacional de Semillas (INASE) y de la Agencia Nacional de Cannabis, Gabriel Giménez, el encuentro funcionó como un espacio de participación y debate, “con un fuerte involucramiento de la jefa municipal y de todas las personas que desarrollan la actividad”. 

    “La regulación es un beneficio directo para las personas que producen y/o industrializan el cáñamo y el cannabis, pero también para el Estado en todos sus niveles a partir de los aportes que vendrán por la generación de trabajo y de los impuestos de la actividad”, detalló Giménez.

    Finalmente, el coordinador general de la Mesa Estratégica de Cannabis medicinal y Cáñamo industrial en el Senasa, Diego Peña, afirmó que la participación del organismo nacional en estos ámbitos de discusión “se da por un lineamiento de las autoridades nacionales del organismo, en pos de aportar a la regulación de la actividad.

    “Estamos trabajando en la registración de las personas que producen y las que trabajan en el fitomejoramiento de los cultivos, articulando fuertemente con los actores y actoras de toda la cadena productiva”, concluyó.

    El encuentro fue en el Concejo Deliberante de Roca y tuvo la participación de 80 personas de distintos lugares del Alto Valle que están registradas como cannabicultoras.

    Autoridades presentes en la actividad

    Durante el encuentro estuvieron presentes el secretario municipal de Producción y Desarrollo Sostenible, Mario López, la supervisora norpatagónica de Protección Vegetal, Natalia Morales y el referente patagónico del INASE, Nicolás Santanatoglia. También las organizaciones Fundación Gen, Evolución Verde, Ciencia sativa, cooperativas cannabicultoras de la zona, Agencia de Desarrollo de Río Negro CREAR, INTA y Universidad Nacional de Río Negro.
