    Cultivos en interior: Electricidad y la importancia de la seguridad

    Germán Osterman, cultivador y electricista, propone una automatización de cultivos domésticos chicos y medianos. El activista busca que quien cultive evite los problemas técnicos y mejore su producción.

    Con el surgimiento de la ley de cannabis medicinal (27.350) en Argentina y su posterior modificación para implementar el Registro de Programa de Cannabis (Reprocann), que permite el cultivo legal de hasta 9 plantas y el trasporte de 40 gramos de flores, se incrementó la cantidad de personas que incursionan en el cultivo.

    Sin embargo, aprender de botánica, biología y electricidad todo en simultáneo puede llegar a ser complejo y engorroso para quienes recién comienzan a cultivar sus plantas. 

    En este contexto es que el cultivador y electricista Germán Osterman ofrece un servicio para mejorar y automatizar los cultivos de cannabis domésticos. El joven comenzó trabajando en una constructora y se reconvirtió a la industria de la planta para facilitarle el cultivo, mejorar la producción y evitar que los usuarios tengan problemas técnicos.

    El electricista aseguró que pretende brindar un servicio que él cuando inició su cultivo no tuvo y necesitó. “Sufrí esos dolores de cabeza, por desperfectos técnicos, como cualquier cultivador que recién comienza”, afirmó.

    “Empecé a optimizar el cultivo con mis conocimientos por los años en la constructora”, señaló Osterman. El servicio que ofrece va desde el asesoramiento técnico hasta las medidas del espacio a utilizar y los equipos que va a necesitar.

    Osterman aseguró que su objetivo es asesorar a quién está en sus primeros cultivos de cannabis como también a quién lo hace desde hace más tiempo. En el último caso, la idea es optimizar el trabajo para que el usuario obtenga mejores resultados.

    Entre los servicios que ofrece están el armado de tableros digitales a medida para prevenir estrés lumínico, cortocircuitos y poder calibrar o ajustar manualmente la hora. También la instalación de luminarias, accesorios de cultivo, ventilación, turbinas y riego automático. 

    Osterman detalló que si a la planta de cannabis se le brinda un espacio óptimo, puede llegar a producir un 30% más de lo normal. “Si tenes un hábitat ideal y programas los timer, es posible”, afirmó.

    El electricista señaló que su trabajo aplica a cualquier tipo de cultivo, por hidroponía, sustrato u otro, para facilitar la producción final y lograr que las personas puedan dedicarle tiempo a las plantas y tener toda el área técnica resuelta.

    “La parte técnica es algo fundamental a la hora de cultivar, más allá de tener un buen sustrato o una buena genética”, destacó y recordó que es un “ser vivo lo que tenemos” y por tal motivo es preciso generar un ambiente acorde donde no haya cortocircuitos ni otros problemas para poder asegurar la mejor y mayor producción.

    El cultivador afirmó que hay personas que saben de la parte botánica y no de la parte técnica. “La idea es resolver ese dolor de cabeza al cultivador, ir a instalar un tablero digital para controlarlo y dejarlo como un reloj”, afirmó.

    Inconvenientes técnicos que pueden surgir en un cultivo en interior

    Entre los problemas más comunes que pueden ocurrir en cultivos pequeños o medianos es el hecho de tener timers analógicos para todo el cultivo. “Yo eso lo recomiendo para sistemas de riego que funcionan en periodos cortos de tiempo”, aseguró Osterman.

    “La planta necesita luz, sea 12 horas por 12 horas o 18 por 6, al usar el timer en periodos cortos podes confundir a la planta y eso le genera estrés lumínico”, detalló e indicó que eso se traduce en menor producción.

    Otro de los inconvenientes que señaló el cultivador es el hecho de que funcione mal un temporizador analógico, ya que este al tener un circuito eléctrico que va a 220 voltios puede producir cortocircuito en los tableros principales de una casa o edificio.

    ¿Cómo surge la idea del electricista cannábico?

    Osterman contó que la idea se le ocurrió durante 2021 cuando logró una producción mayor en su cultivo que ya contaba con la optimización con un tablero digital e indicó que le resultó sencillo cultivar con ese sistema.

    “Le armé un tablero a un amigo que había tenido inconvenientes por cortes con su carpa y me recomendó con otro conocido que tenía un problema similar”, contó el electricista. 

    Según indicó, en ese momento pensó en los cultivadores que podían llegar a tener el mismo inconveniente. “La solución no es cara para lo que es la producción final”, aseguró y señaló que su idea es apuntar al pequeño y mediano autocultivador.

    La relación con el cannabis

    Germán probó por primera vez cannabis en 2017 porque no podía dormir de noche. “Un amigo me ofreció una seca, noté que tenía rico aroma y me gustó”, afirmó. 

    “Lo probé de grande y me fui asesorando con gente que sabía del tema”, comentó Osterman. “Empecé a ver todo el mundo cannábico y me encontré con personas muy agradables”, señaló e indicó que a los pocos meses instaló su indoor con la automatización propia. 

    El cultivador explicó que su madre se trata con aceite de cannabis y su abuela con cremas de la planta. “Fue un tema que pude hablarlo con varios familiares, mucho se tratan actualmente y en otro momento o contexto nunca lo hubieran hecho”, concluyó.
