    Mercedes: Encuentro de Municipios Bonaerenses sobre iniciativas de cannabis

    Se llevó a cabo una reunión de trabajo con Municipios de la zona que desarrollan proyectos sobre cannabis medicinal y cáñamo industrial.

    Este miércoles se realizó un encuentro organizado por el municipio de Mercedes en la Provincia de Buenos Aires. En la reunión se abordó los alcances del proyecto de cannabis medicinal en el municipio de Mercedes.

    En el mitin participaron el intendente de Mercedes, Juan Ignacio Ustarroz, quien contó la iniciativa del municipio, Gabriel Giménez, Director Nacional de Articulación Federal del INASE y el referente regional Fernando Zapata.

    Durante la jornada se compartieron diferentes experiencias y estrategias municipales, en conjunto con el INTA, representado por Carla Arizio, y Universidades. 

    “Fue un encuentro muy emotivo porque se pudo escuchar a muchos municipios de la región y los proyectos que tienen”, indicó Gabriel Giménez. El funcionario destacó además la convocatoria impulsada por el jefe comunal del municipio, Juan Ignacio Ustarroz.

    El intendente lleva adelante un trabajo con su propio equipo, en consulta permanente con el INASE, sobre las normativas vigentes para el proyecto de cannabis medicinal que están emprendiendo en Mercedes.

    En ese sentido, el Director Nacional de Articulación Federal aseguró que desde el organismo se plantea la necesidad de tener una identidad regional para llevar adelante las producciones en torno a la planta y el acceso al aceite, mancomunado con cultivadores de la región.

    “Lo importante es consolidar un proyecto que tenga identidad desde el inicio y que tenga capacidad para desarrollarse en el tiempo”, afirmó Giménez y señaló que las iniciativas deberán cumplir con las normas vigentes en 27.350, y lo que eventualmente disponga la 27.669.

    “No hay desarrollo local sin desarrollo regional. En la cadena del cannabis es central eso, desde la genética hasta el producto final”, sintetizó Giménez sobre el encuentro en Mercedes.

    Por su parte, Pablo Núñez, Subsecretario de Coordinación Institucional del Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación presentó líneas de financiamiento para el sector cannábico.

    Además, las autoridades propusieron la creación de una mesa de trabajo para avanzar en el desarrollo de proyectos que fortalezcan la genética regional e impulsar iniciativas de salud.
