    Colombia: el candidato a la presidencia Luis Pérez quiere poner una hoja de marihuana a la bandera colombiana

    El exgobernador de Antioquia, Luis Pérez, se mostró a favor de impulsar la “economía verde del cannabis” y propuso que en las 200 mil hectáreas donde se cultiva coca, se reemplace por cannabis industrial, medicinal, recreativo y para alimentos.

    Durante un debate en la última semana de marzo en el que estuvieron presentes otros candidatos en la universidad Externado de Colombia, previo a las elecciones presidenciales de mayo, Pérez, candidato a la presidencia de Colombia por el movimiento Piensa en Grande, se pronunció también a favor de incluir en la bandera nacional una hoja de marihuana y favorecer a la industria cannábica, que podría llegar a generar 3 millones de puestos de trabajo.

    El candidato declaró que el país fracasó en la eliminación de cultivos ilegales y propuso que se reemplace el cultivo de coca por el de cannabis. “Esto hay que mirarlo como estadista. El mundo completo va a empezar a luchar por esa economía. Hoy hay más de 60 países que han empezado a legalizar el cannabis”, comentó.

    Así mismo, aseguró que si en Colombia se siembra cannabis donde hay coca, se pueden generar 3 millones de puestos de trabajo, a lo que se sumaría la exportación de aceites y productos farmacéuticos derivados de la planta “por cerca de 50.000 millones de dólares”.

    En medio de su propuesta por la legalización del cannabis, afirmó que “la economía verde va a ser la revolución de este país”. En ese sentido, aseveró que hay que legalizar la planta en todos sus formas.

    A su vez, indicó que si el cannabis va a generar 3 millones de empleos debería nombrarse como la hoja nacional. «Propondría, con el respeto del Congreso de la República, que cambiáramos la bandera”, y sorprendió al auditorio al abrir una bandera de Colombia con una hoja de marihuana en la franja amarilla, la más ancha de la enseña.

    Por su parte, los candidatos Sergio Fajardo, de la Coalición Centro Esperanza, y Rodolfo Hernández, de la Liga de Gobernantes Anticorrupción, se reunieron la semana pasada y aunque dijeron haber coincidido en algunos puntos, dejaron en claro que no harán alianzas antes de la primera vuelta, prevista para el 29 de mayo.
