En la presentación estuvieron presentes los gobernadores Gustavo Valdés (Corrientes) y Sergio Uñac (San Juan) quienes ya están trabajando en proyectos para impulsar el desarrollo cannábico. También estuvo presente la Directora Nacional de Desarrollo Institucional Productivo, Natalia Del Cogliano, en representación del Ministerio de Desarrollo Productivo de la Nación comandado por Matias Kulfas.
Cannava está a la espera de la aprobación de su producto, por parte de la ANMAT, para iniciar el proceso de producción y distribución del mismo hacia los hospitales y farmacias de todo el país.
Para 2021 Jujuy proyecta cultivar plantas a cielo abierto y Morales confía en obtener la autorización para cultivar 600 hectáreas de cannabis para consumo nacional y exportación a otros mercados. En ese tiempo se prevé la creación de 2.400 puestos de trabajo.
