Se inauguró el consultorio médico cannábico de medicina integral en la localidad de Tolhuin, Tierra del Fuego. El establecimiento surge por el acuerdo firmado entre el municipio y la ONG Tolweed Club para garantizar la atención y el acceso seguro al cannabis medicinal a personas de grupos prioritarios como personas mayores o con discapacidad.
La cultivadora y presidenta de Tolweed Club, Soledad Gareca, dialogó con Cannabica Argentina y dio detalles sobre la iniciativa llevada a cabo en la localidad fueguina.
“El consultorio cannábico de medicina integral es una propuesta que llevamos desde la ONG Tolweed Club hacía la Municipalidad de Tolhuin con la idea de generar un dispositivo clínico que acompañe a nuestros vecinos en el acceso al cannabis”, señaló Gareca.
La titular de la ONG afirmó que tuvieron una “muy buena recepción” por parte del municipio. “La idea se lleva adelante con la doctora local Soledad Finck, con quien atendemos la parte clínica y también asesoramos a las personas, mediante voluntarios de la ONG, para que se hagan el Reprocann”, agregó.
Según informó Soledad, en las primeras dos semanas que funcionó el dispositivo en la localidad tuvieron cubierto todos los turnos, lo que dejó en evidencia la necesidad de la comunidad por acceder a la planta.
“Es la primera parte de un proyecto que tiene que ver con sentar las bases de la parte productiva del cannabis medicinal en nuestra provincia y pensarlo desde una lógica comunitaria y de acceso para que a nuestros vecinos no les falte su medicina”, afirmó.
Gareca indicó que proyectan poder trabajar a futuro, junto con el municipio de Tolhuin y la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN), para avanzar en las diferentes etapas que tiene el proceso de acceso a la medicina y acompañar a los productores locales.
La presidenta de Tolweed Club recordó que el dispositivo es gratuito, accesible y confidencial para que las personas puedan tener una consulta médica y aprender los procesos y permisos actuales para acceder al cannabis medicinal de forma legal. “Esperamos tener soberanía en materia de cannabis y acceso a la salud en Tierra del Fuego”, concluyó.
