    UNR y AUPAC: abren la inscripción para el posgrado en cannabis

    Será la cuarta edición del espacio formativo destinado a personas con título de grado y que integren equipos de salud. Tendrá modalidad virtual, incluyendo lo más reciente de los usos terapéuticos de la planta.

    La Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) y la Asociación de Usuarios y Profesionales para el Abordaje del Cannabis (Aupac) abrieron la inscripción de la cuarta edición del Curso de Posgrado “Abordaje Integral de la Planta de Cannabis para la Salud”. 

    El cursado comenzará en mayo luego de la Marcha Mundial de la Marihuana, tendrá sede en la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas y será con modalidad virtual, incluyendo 200 horas con más de 50 docentes que ofrecerán lo más reciente y consolidado del uso terapéutico de la planta. 

    “Es un programa muy rico en docentes y contenidos con la profundidad necesaria para salir a la cancha y trabajar con cannabis en los consultorios”, explicó Soledad Pedrana, integrante de la iniciativa académica.

    Nueva cohorte del Posgrado en Cannabis en UNR

    Según explicaron desde las instituciones organizadoras, el posgrado ofrece herramientas específicas a profesionales de la salud para el acompañamiento adecuado a personas y animales no humanos que utilizan cannabis con fines terapéuticos. 

    Eso incluye la capacitación para la prescripción de la planta y sus derivados (aceites, alimentos y cremas, por ejemplo). También se propone ubicar a profesionales de equipos de salud y personas con título de grado en cuanto a las dimensiones histórica, social, legal, botánica, biológica y clínica de la planta desde sus orígenes hasta la actualidad. Finalmente, aportará información fidedigna para sostener posiciones críticas en los debates venideros alrededor de la planta y su regulación.

    El posgrado, que en ediciones anteriores había sumado especialidades como nutrición y odontología, empezará el sábado 11 de mayo de 2024, cuando se espera que se realice la tradicional Marcha Mundial de la Marihuana. 

    Tendrá 5 módulos. El primero relacionado con la etnobotánica y el contexto sociopolítico de la planta. El segundo vinculado a la planta y salud. El tercero sobre el sistema endocannabinoide, farmacología y salud integral. El cuarto ligado a la práctica clínica y el quinto sobre las investigaciones en marcha y las que se proyectan en Argentina.
