    Catán Se Prende: Una iniciativa para hablar de 420 y juventudes

    Serán dos encuentros este viernes 12 de mayo y el próximo el viernes 19 de mayo en González Catán.

    Catán Se Prende es una iniciativa para que las juventudes de entre 18 y 24 años para abordar la temática del cannabis sobre los riesgos y las prácticas reales que se dan en el barrio.

    La actividad consta de dos charlas informativas, una se realizó este viernes 12 de mayo a las 15:00 horas sobre La planta de cannabis: Autocultivo y sus diferentes usos. La misma contó con la participación de Pablo, integrante de Morón se Planta y Lucas, docente de agroecología.

    Para el segundo encuentro a realizarse el próximo viernes 19 de mayo a las 15:00 horas se tratará el tema Legalización y comunicación. Regulaciones y redes. En esta ocasión participarán Alejandro Corda de la agrupación Intercambios AC y el periodista Luis Castro Palma del medio Cannabica Argentina.

    Las actividades se llevan a cabo en Cirujas AC, Lasalle 2570, González Catán y la iniciativa es organizada por el dispositivo de abordaje de usos problemáticos de alcohol y otras drogas con jóvenes, No Te Sientas Zarpado y la Asociación Civil Intercambios.

    La organización Intercambios AC fue fundada en 1995 en un contexto en el que surgían agrupaciones en defensa de los derechos humanos para consolidar la democracia recuperada años atrás y reforzar aún más el rol de la sociedad civil.

    De esta manera, la Asociación Civil se consolidó como institución líder en la promoción de una visión flexible en cuanto a drogas. Intercambios abordó la problemática del consumo de sustancias ilícitas desde una perspectiva de salud y derechos humanos apostando a abordajes alternativos como la reducción de daños.

    Más adelante en el tiempo, en 1998, la organización realizó la primera encuesta sobre drogas inyectables en el país en un contexto en el que el 50% de los casos de VIH/sida se vinculaban con el uso de este tipo de narcóticos.

    Intercambios fue la primera institución en llevar adelante el primer programa de reducción de daños que se realizó en Argentina. El mismo incluyó la entrega de jeringas descartables en el conurbano bonaerense, entre otras cosas.

    La organización se ocupó también de trabajar junto a legisladores y distintas áreas del Ejecutivo nacional contra la criminalización de la posesión de drogas para consumo personal.
