    La evolución del cannabis en Mar del Plata desde la óptica de Diego Nutter

    Mar del Plata es de las ciudades que más historia tiene con respecto al cannabis, Diego Nutter director de la empresa Fénix y fundador de la Asociación Civil CBG 2000 nos contó su trayectoria y el recorrido de la planta durante tantos años, desde La Feliz.

    Diego Nutter es director de la empresa Fenix Cann encargada de la Investigación, asesoramiento y acompañamiento a usuarios de cannabis en Mar del Plata. Además es asesor de cultivo, participó de la creación de CAMEDA y de la Agrupación Marplatense de Cannabicultores.

    También integra la Cámara Marplatense de Cannabis y fue el creador de la Asociación Civil CBG 2000 que utiliza el laboratorio de Fenix Cann para la investigación y testeo de aceites y productos a base de cannabis.

    “Yo arranqué en 2008 cuándo cree la Agrupación Marplatense de Cannabicultores”, indicó Nutter y aseguró que fue una de las primeras ONGs registrada en Argentina referida a la planta. Según explicó, en ese entonces era muy difícil hablar sobre el tema cannabis.

    “Una señora que tenía cáncer se nos acercó para recibir ayuda y le dimos una mano con la enfermedad utilizando un vaporizador”, comentó el cultivador y detalló que con ese caso fue que se “enganchó” con todo lo que respecta al uso de la planta de manera terapéutica.

    En ese momento, Nutter intentó realizar un acercamiento con la universidad de Mar del Plata para comenzar a estudiar de manera más detallada los beneficios del cannabis pero no hubo buena recepción. “No había nada, me dijeron que era algo ilegal, que cuando eso cambiará se podría ver de hacerlo”, explicó.

    Nutter asegura que algunos médicos paliativistas estuvieron a disposición pero era todo muy reducido. “De 2008 a 2015 el camino fue solitario, no teníamos gran repercusión”, señaló.

    Entre 2015 y 2016 se da un quiebre en el país y se comienza a hablar y debatir sobre el uso medicinal del cannabis para los casos de epilepsia, sobre todo en niños y niñas.

    “En esa época dejé la Agrupación de Mar del Plata y fui parte de quienes fundamos Cameda”, afirmó Nutter e indicó que la organización Cannabis Medicinal Argentina (CAMEDA) la creó junto a dos padres que son médicos y que su hija sufría de epilepsia.

    Ante la alta demanda de consultas sobre el uso terapéutico del cannabis y la falta de información al respecto, desde la organización comenzaron a brindar charlas informativas por todo el país.

    En 2017 Diego deja Cameda luego de que se sancionara la ley 27.350 de cannabis medicinal en Argentina. Ya en 2018 se comienza a dedicar de lleno su tiempo a la empresa Fenix Cann, de la cual hoy es director.

    “Para ese entonces ya tenía los aceites con marca y los veníamos trabajando junto con la universidad de Mar del Plata”, señaló Nutter e indicó que desde 2016 comenzaron a testear los aceites que producían para corroborar que tuvieran CBD.

    Junto a investigadores de la universidad comenzaron a trazar un trabajo conjunto para poder verificar cada aceite que se produce y comprobar que fuera seguro. “Más adelante trabajamos con el INTI, les aportamos el espacio para que verifique los estándares de producción nacional, con plantas que le aportamos, y los reparte para cualquier centro de investigación que quiera tenerlos”, aseguró.

    Nutter explicó que cuando se fue de CAMEDA creó la Asociación Civil CBG 2000 con la que trabajan en todo lo que respecta a la investigación del cannabis junto a la universidad de Mar del Plata.

    Es considerada una de las primera empresa de Argentina en investigar, asesorar y acompañar el uso de cannabis terapéutico en todo el país. La compañía marplatense cuenta con un laboratorio de producción de cannabis.

    “Recientemente salió publicada una investigación en una revista internacional científica sobre la utilización de la raíz que se genera al cultivar en hidroponia”, señaló Diego. “Esa raíz la estábamos tirando a la basura, no le dábamos uso”, afirmó.

    En ese momento comenzaron a investigar y descubrieron que las raíces cuentan con un componente que mata la bacteria que a su vez mata a las larvas de las abejas. Según explicó, dicha bacteria afecta a las colmenas y, a su vez, a los apicultores.

    “Para matar la bacteria no podes usar químicos porque contaminas la colmena y así la miel no pasa ningún tipo de verificación”, detalló Nutter. “Este componente puede ser una herramienta para la industria apicultora y tener un producto ecológico”, indicó.

    Según explicó el director de Fénix Cann, se está evaluando la eficacia dentro de la colmena, a priori no afecta a la larva y mata a la bacteria.

    Proyección 2023

    Nutter adelantó que para el 2023 van a tener pasantías para el laboratorio mediante un convenio entre Fénix y la Universidad de Mar del Plata. Además, el primer fin de semana de febrero se realizará una expo en La Feliz.

    Con respecto a La Agencia Regulatoria de la Industria del Cáñamo y del Cannabis Medicinal (ARICCAME), el director de la empresa aseguró que esperan poder conseguir una licencia.
