    FLIPEX: así se vivió el primer campamento cannábico en Latinoamérica

    El lugar elegido para el primer campamento cannábico en Latinoamérica no fue al azar. La comunidad en Tornquist Provincia de Buenos Aires se viene organizando hace años en una especie de resistencia cannábica. Juntos enfrentan desafíos y episodios no muy gratos en torno a la planta. Lo ocurrido hace dos años en un allanamiento con carátula de narcotráfico, donde hasta el Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA) estuvo involucrado, prendieron las alarmas de un municipio que lejos del narcotráfico lo que busca es avanzar en la democratización de la información y la educación de sus ciudadanos en un entorno seguro.

    Así se vivió la primera edición del Flipex los días 18,19 y 20 de marzo, donde se reunieron exponentes de cannabis en investigación, producción, innovación y organización. Médicos, abogados, veterinarios, cultivadores expertos, cooperativas y organizaciones, brindaron charlas, conferencias y compartieron experiencias con los asistentes durante los tres días de acampe en dos escenarios distintos. Un evento pensado para toda la familia y con stands dedicados al cultivo, producción de derivados, gastronomía, terapias holísticas y organizaciones, que presentaron sus proyectos y productos elaborados con cannabis.

    Una comunidad que se une siempre avanza 

    El objetivo social: lograr la unión de una comunidad en torno al cannabis e imponer la marca FLIPEX a nivel nacional como el lugar de encuentro de la cultura cannábica. Distintas lecturas pueden derivar de un evento de esta magnitud, nos quedamos con la importancia del apoyo y participación de la comunidad más longeva del municipio, la calidad y profesionalismo de los stand que participaron y el calor humano de la comunidad cannabica reunida en torno a la educación. Cabe destacar el esfuerzo de la organización por la limpieza del predio, el acondicionamiento del lugar y el recibimiento a los forasteros. Quizás la poca difusión en general no ayudó a la convocatoria. No obstante, como dicen por ahí, no hay mejor prensa que un asistente feliz; campistas, lugareños y disertantes que vivieron tres días de aprendizaje y diversión, marcando la historia del municipio y la región. Muestras fotográficas, yoga, talleres de masaje, terapias alternativas y shows musicales también se hicieron parte del evento.

    En un predio dispuesto por Baraca Regional, con la firma organizadora del evento y la habilitación del municipio, los asistentes podían acampar, asistir a las actividades con shows musicales y hasta refrescarse en una pileta que fue habilitada durante los tres días. La llegada no era fácil, solo dos líneas de colectivo llegan a Tornquist desde Bahía Blanca. Los interesados ya estaban organizados mediante las redes sociales y grupos de whatsapp, así que contaban con pequeños colectivos que movilizaban a las personas desde el centro de Bahía Blanca hasta el camping. Las conversaciones de los asistentes se hilaban entre la ansiedad de algo desconocido, el miedo por ser detenidos y la alegría de asistir al nacimiento de algo histórico. Todos se preguntaban si se podría fumar, si habría suficiente espacio para acampar y si el clima acompañaría el fin de semana. Todo se dió y las expectativas del evento para muchos se cumplieron, lejos de los rumores de un campo gigantesco que no se llenó. Una sorpresa al bolsillo que los productos fueran accesibles y los precios populares. 

    El intendente municipal Sergio Bordoni reconoció, que FLIPEX fue un evento especial no solo para Tornquist, también para la región. “El tiempo lo dirá, pero seguramente vamos a hacer historia, siempre de la mano de gente que quiera superarse y desafiar límites con respecto a la marihuana. Sabemos que es difícil derribar el tabú de que el cannabis es solo droga y aprender que hay muchos profesionales de la salud que están trabajando en este tema; personalmente he comprobado los resultados porque mi madre está tomando cannabis recetado por un médico y elaborado en un laboratorio de Mar del Plata. Así que esto tiene que seguir avanzando para el bien de la sociedad” recalcó el intendente para la cadena local de televisión.

    Los puntos en común de los expositores surgieron como un reclamo y apuntaban a la construcción del cannabis como una terapia justamente desde la comunidad.  Primero, el cuidado y participación de las organizaciones en la formulación de leyes y decretos en torno al cannabis. Un cambio de paradigma en la relación de unidireccionalidad médico/paciente en donde el paciente es un ente pasivo y no participante, esto porque el cannabis es llevado por los pacientes al consultorio e interpela la medicina que busca al fármaco como único tratamiento. Y por último, el cambio en la visión del cannabis como elemento recreativo o medicinal, esto debido a que el cannabis se debe entender más en términos de terapia ya que acompaña distintos procesos dentro de la medicina. 

    Seguir luchando, unirse, dejar los prejuicios y romper tabúes para avanzar, este fue el marco que sostuvo el evento que estuvo a la altura. Productos regionales, expositores nacionales y organizadores, unieron sus esfuerzos con las autoridades locales para brindar un evento que fue nombrado un día antes de su inicio como de interés provincial. Un guiño que alegró a la organización y dejó en claro que Tornquist se está preparando para convertirse en un punto clave para la legalización del cannabis.
