LA MUESTRA DE ARTE CANNÁBICO
«El monstruo que no dejan salir», una muestra de 50 esculturas, cuadros, acuarelas y objetos inspirados y realizados con flores y hojas de cannabis sativa se expone de manera presencial y virtual hasta fines de septiembre en “La Base Cultural”, en la ciudad bonaerense de Avellaneda, como reflejo de la cultura cannábica que transgrede límites.
La exhibición recoge la obra de Fernando Brizuela y Jacko Rial, cannábicos de Argentina, en un predio donde se exponen monstruos realizados íntegramente con cogollos de marihuana, dibujos relativos al uso medicinal de la planta iluminados con luces de neón y acuarelas sobre estudios botánicos del cannabis.
Brizuela comenzó a darle forma al material años atrás tras la muerte de su hermano. A partir de esa dolorosa circunstancia aprendió que la marihuana «no cura mágicamente pero te permite tener una vida ‘normal’. “te mejora el apetito y te proporciona cierta calma en cuadros de enfermedades terminales», le contó el artista a Télam a principios de año.
Su obra busca incluir un espectro de sentidos asociados a la marihuana, su historia, sus símbolos y sus rituales, una subcultura que atraviesa de manera silenciosa y transversal a todas las sociedades y clases sociales.
Si bien la situación respecto a la planta en Argentina cambió radicalmente el último tiempo, Brizuela se mostró preocupado por las detenciones. “En nuestro país todavía van presos pequeños cultivadores y consumidores de marihuana», en el marco de la denominada ‘guerra a las drogas’ la cual significó un rotundo fracaso a nivel global”.
En este sentido, según el artista, la imagen del monstruo que creó con cogollos de marihuana, tiene la intención de enfatizar críticamente esa visión prejuiciosa y superficial de ciertos segmentos de la sociedad que asocia la planta de marihuana únicamente a la degradación personal sin ningún tipo de matices.
«Es un cuco, una suerte de espantapájaros que representa ‘el flagelo de la droga’, es una imagen ambigua porque aquel espectador que consume o está informado y actualizado en relación al tema capta inmediatamente el tono irónico y crítico de las esculturas», sostuvo.
Su trabajo artístico se extiende a curiosas y sugerentes antigüedades de porcelana intervenidas con la cabeza de un monstruo cannábico, trayendo ese objeto a una nueva vida.
ASOCIACIÓN CANNABICULTURA DEL SUR
“Al edificio lo recuperamos arquitectónicamente primero y después culturalmente”, le cuenta Nico Aiello integrante ACS a cannábica argentina. Lo que ahora es la “Base Cultural” de la asociación de cannabicultores es un lugar muy bonito, con mucha historia en la ciudad de Avellaneda. Tiempo atrás era la Escuela de Música Popular de Avellaneda (EMPA). Dicho espacio fue remodelado y mejorado por los integrantes de ACS. “Nos interesó preservar y recuperar el espacio para la cultura cannábica”.
Las actividades de la Asociación se separan en lo propio de un Centro Cultural, como es la música, festivales y recitales, que en la actualidad tuvieron un parate por la pandemia y por el otro, el espacio cannábico. En lo que respecta al cannabis, desde la Asociación se está trabajando en conjunto con la Universidad de Avellaneda y el Hospital Finochietto donando extracciones para que sean testeadas y utilizadas en 10 (diez) pacientes. Además se espera avanzar en el mismo sentido en Quilmes.
Hay que hablar del cannabis como forma de vida. Hay personas que viven de eso. El negocio del cannabis no está sólo en lo medicinal”, comenta Richard, integrante de ACS. “Está el que hace comida, el que hace las carpas, el que hace las tierras, los fertilizantes y las luces. Eso mueve la economía”, explica.
En ese sentido, Wilson, trabajador y jardinero del club de cultivo Jardín del Unicornio, abre el juego a que en un futuro no muy lejano el trabajo que el hace, en la clandestinidad, sea reconocido. “Con la muestra de arte se nos están abriendo muchas puertas”, resaltó. “Se está trabajando en un cultivo cooperativo en San Vicente” y como esos hay varios proyectos en marcha.
A su vez, Laura Scuteri, integrante de ACS ya piensa a futuro. “En lo que respecta a salud y bienestar, la cannabis con todas sus propiedades aún desconocidas se convertirá en una revolución farmacológica, industrial y, finalmente, económica en los años venideros», le comentó meses atrás a Télam.
Por su parte, el productor independiente y militante de DDHH, Christo Carnelli nos invita a ser parte de la Asociación Cannabicultura del Sur y a visitar la muestra de arte cannábico. “Tenemos que ser cada vez más y ayudarnos entre nosotres” a darle difusión a la planta y al espacio cultural.
