    La FACC y la FECCU firmaron un acuerdo de cooperación para trabajar juntos para la región

    Desde las federación destacaron el encuentro por la importancia que representa en materia de colaboración regional y cannabis.

    La Federación de Clubes Cannábicos del Uruguay (FECCU) y la Federación Argentina de Cannabis y Cáñamo (FACC), llevaron adelante un acuerdo para que ambas federaciones sudamericanas trabajen en conjunto para la región.

    La reunión se realizó en la ciudad de Buenos Aires con integrantes de FECCU y FACC, y además contó con la presencia del Diputado Nacional de Uruguay, Diego Reyes. En el encuentro se abordaron 4 temas: Normativas y Regulaciones, Educación sobre Cannabis Sativa L., Simplificación de procesos y digitalización y Promoción de Buenas Prácticas Agrícolas (BPA).

    Nicolás Milione, secretario general de la FACC e integrante de la Asociación civil Acción Cannábica, dialogó con Cannábica Argentina y afirmó que el acuerdo es un “hito” en materia de colaboración regional y cannabis. 

    “Estamos comprometidos en promover las iniciativas que sean necesarias para mejorar la normativa y regulaciones, así como en facilitar a la ciudadanía información adecuada sobre el uso adecuado del cannabis medicinal y su industrialización”, expresó Milione.

    El cultivador consideró esencial avanzar en la simplificación de procesos burocráticos y la promoción de las Buenas Prácticas Agrícolas “para avanzar en un marco más eficiente y sostenible para la producción de Cannabis Sativa L.”

    Según indicó Nicolás, el acuerdo busca promover un uso responsable y sostenible de la Cannabis Sativa L., en acompañamiento a los avances normativos y científicos que respaldan “su potencial medicinal y su aplicabilidad en la industria del cáñamo”.

    A su turno, el vicepresidente de la FECCU, Guillermo Raffo, afirmó que el objetivo del convenio es trabajar con organizaciones vinculadas al cannabis para generar un frente regional y latinoamericano que pueda tratar la agenda cannabica.

    “Creemos que es la forma en la que podemos avanzar entre todos sobre los principales temas del cannabis”, expresó Raffo e indicó que se buscará trabajar en objetivos concretos.

    Entre otras cosas, prevén abordar la iniciativa para el traspaso fronterizo entre Argentina y Uruguay con cannabis para todas aquellas personas que estén autorizadas a adquirir de manera legal marihuana en ambos país.

    Además, Guillermo planteó que trabajan junto a la FACC para organizar una marcha latinoamericana del cannabis en 2024. “La idea es marchar todos el mismo día para generar ese impacto global importante”, aseguró.

    Confederación Latinoamericana de Federaciones Cannábicas

    Durante el encuentro en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires la FACC y la FECCU mostraron su intención de conformar una Confederación Latinoamericana de Federaciones Cannábicas.

    «Este convenio es el primer paso hacia una cooperación más amplia en la región; esperamos compartir experiencias, información y trabajar juntos en el desarrollo de nuevas políticas públicas con otras federaciones que deseen unirse a esta iniciativa”, detalló Milione al respecto.

    Producción de cáñamo

    Raffo afirmó que con el acuerdo firmado prevén ampliar el espectro para “poder trabajar con productores todo lo que tiene que ver con la producción de cáñamo industrial”.

    10 años de cannabis legal en Uruguay

    En el mes de diciembre se celebrará en Uruguay el 10° Aniversario de la primera Ley de Regulación de Cannabis en el mundo y la FACC recibió la invitación para formar parte del festejo.
