    El INDEC y la SEDRONAR presentaron una encuesta nacional sobre consumo de sustancias legales e ilegales

    El estudio da información sobre el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, legales e ilegales, en la población de 16 a 75 años. También indaga sobre las motivaciones y contextos del consumo.

    El Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (INDEC) y el Observatorio Argentino de Drogas de la Secretaría de Políticas Integrales sobre Drogas (SEDRONAR) presentaron este jueves la Encuesta Nacional sobre Consumos y Prácticas de Cuidado 2022 (ENCOPRAC) realizada sobre 30 mil participantes de 31 centros urbanos de Argentina.

    El estudio analiza el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en la población de 16 a 75 años, las diferentes modalidades de uso y el perfil de los consumidores. También indaga sobre las motivaciones y contextos del consumo como así también sus recaudos y prácticas de cuidado.

    “Desde el inicio de nuestra gestión en SEDRONAR planteamos la necesidad de ampliar la perspectiva sobre la cual se produce información sobre esta temática. Lamentablemente, debimos posponer la realización de la encuesta por el COVID”, aseguró Gabriela Torres, titular de la Sedronar, quien destacó el trabajo conjunto con el INDEC que no se hacía desde 2004.

    La Encuesta Nacional sobre Consumos y Practicas de Cuidado 2022 estima la problemática de los consumos de sustancias, tanto legales como ilegales entre las que figuran: Alcohol, tabaco, marihuana, cocaína y psicofármacos.

    Fuentes que trabajaron en la encuesta le confirmaron a Infobae, que las drogas sintéticas (MDMA, LSD), los hongos alucinógenos (psilocibina) y la pasta base (”paco”) ocupan una porción muy baja del total de la torta (menos del 0,5%) y por tal motivo no fueron destacadas en este estudio. “No quiere decir que no se midan, pero hacemos abordajes puntuales, especialmente con el paco”, señalaron.

    “Esta encuesta es una foto no solo de qué, sino de cómo consumimos”, Indicó Torre y agregó: “Es la primera vez que al decir cómo consumimos, qué percepción tenemos del consumo y qué sabemos de cómo cuidarnos, no solo nos da pautas de intervención, sino que es un valor agregado a los históricos índices de prevalencia”.

    Orden de consumo por drogas

    Según detalla el estudio, el alcohol es la sustancia más consumida con el 66,2%, seguida por el tabaco (25,6%), la marihuana (13,8%), tranquilizantes (6,9%) y cocaína (0,6%).

    Próximos trabajos

    Tras la presentación de esta primera encuesta, desde el Observatorio Argentino de Drogas anunciaron que prevén otras publicaciones durante los meses de septiembre, octubre y noviembre, entre las que se destacan: La magnitud de los consumos a nivel regional, trabajos específicos sobre alcohol, marihuana y psicofármacos y sus prácticas de cuidado, entre otros.
