    Panamá: Asignarán licencias de de fabricación de derivados del cannabis medicinal

    Desde el Ministerio de Salud de la Nación del país centroamericano realizan la convocatoria pública.

    La Dirección Nacional de Farmacia y Drogas del Ministerio de Salud de la Nación de Panamá lleva adelante la convocatoria, de manera pública, para recibir propuestas sobre cannabis medicinal.

    El objetivo de la iniciativa es asignar las licencias de fabricación de derivados de la planta para uso medicinal. La Ley 242, que regula el uso medicinal y terapéutico del cannabis y sus derivados, establece que “solo se podrán autorizar hasta siete licencias, las cuales tendrán una vigencia de 10 años”.

    Las autoridades sanitarias de Panamá recibirán, dentro de los 75 días hábiles a partir de la última publicación del aviso, las diferentes propuestas con respecto al cannabis medicinal.

    Las solicitudes que los interesados ingresen en la Dirección de Farmacia y Drogas, contará con 30 días hábiles para confirmar si la misma “se encuentra conforme con los requisitos establecidos en la ley y su reglamentación” para la asiganción de la licencia.

    Si cumple los requisitos

    Si la solicitud está dentro de los requisitos, se emitirá la resolución de aprobación de la licencia y se ordenará el pago del costo de la misma, que es de $150 mil no reembolsable.

    ¿Qué pasa si no cumple con los requisitos?

    En caso de no cumplir con los requisitos estipulados por la ley de regulación del uso medicinal del cannabis, los interesados serán notificados, mediante una nota, y les señalarán las observaciones que deberán modificar dentro de quince días.
