    San Luis: primer congreso integral de cannabis medicinal

    El sábado 27 de marzo en el municipio de El Trapiche perteneciente a la Provincia de San Luis comenzó el primer módulo del Congreso Integral sobre Cannabis Medicinal, con 4 encuentros, que continuarán en el mes de abril con la presencia de profesionales de la salud, autoridades provinciales y ONGs para abordar temas referidos a la ley 27.350 de uso medicinal del cannabis y su correcta implementación. 

    En la apertura de sesiones legislativas el gobernador de San Luis, Alberto Rodriguez Saá, anunció que va a poner a disposición todo su gabinete para poder avanzar en un proyecto de cannabis medicinal. De esa manera, San Luis se suma a la lista de provincias que apuestan a la producción de cannabis medicinal en el país.

    “Sabemos que este es el camino que tenemos que seguir, a partir de la consulta de varios usuarios nos decidimos estudiar y analizar que teníamos y como podíamos avanzar para poder implementar con seguridad”, le expresó la Secretaria Legal de el Trapiche, Giuliana Torti, a Cannábica Argentina. Además aseguró que “el congreso está saliendo excelente, con gran predisposición de la Universidad Nacional para continuar avanzando con convenios futuros, para poder generar que se pueda un cultivo colectivo en la localidad”.

    Por otro lado, la licenciada en psicología de la UBA, especialista en endocanabinología e integrante de la Consultora Latinoamericana, Paloma Sneh, explicó que la endocannabinología es una disciplina que está en construcción, porque se habla de cannabis medicinal y en función de eso se creó el término “Endocannabinologia”, para trabajar justamente a través del cannabis el sistema endocannabinoide. “El descubrimiento de la existencia y la importancia de este sistema se produjo ya hace más de 20 años pero llamativamente aún no integra la curricular de los lugares académicos donde se imparte medicina, psicología y todo lo que tiene que ver con la salud, y la fisiología y por eso hay que empezar a difundir esto, es necesario hablar y tratar esto del sistema endocannabinoide en el ámbito académico”, detalló en diálogo con Cannábica Argentina.

    También contó que son varios los profesionales de salud que estudian y trabajan el cannabis medicinal, entre ellos se encuentran enfermeros, anestesistas, kinesiólogos, médicos, psiquiatras, psicólogos, psicólogos sociales, y todos pueden formarse en el cannabis medicinal con un abordaje “multidisciplinario”. Según la psicóloga, es preciso trabajar con el cannabis de una manera multidisciplinaria, tratar a una persona no como un síntoma, sino como “una compleja estructura donde los factores desde el contexto, la historia, la memoria, la convivencia con su patología y la antigüedad de su convivencia con su patología todo eso influye muchísimo al modo de tratamiento con lo cual es súper importante pensar el abordaje multidisciplinario.” “Estamos muy felices por estas iniciativas, porque son puertas que se abren, nos dan más horizontes para poder seguir trabajando”, sentenció. 

    Desde la asociación cannábica “Esperanza de la Vida”, participantes del Congreso, resaltaron la importancia social que tienen este tipo de iniciativas donde el objetivo principal es informar. “Con 15 congresistas, médicos, doctores en farmacia, gente del CONICET, la universidad de San Luis, profesionales del INTA. Un congreso con mucha información, por eso es integral y multidisciplinario, porque la gente requiere muchísima información”.
