La iniciativa cuenta con una certificación para quienes participen en la capacitación.
Educación Cannábica propone un aprendizaje de cannabis llevado a cabo por profesionales del ambiente cannábico de distintas ramas. Todas las semanas se llevan a cabo nuevas capacitaciones.
La “Academia Educa” propone formar criterio sobre la planta milenaria a través de profesionales “con amplia capacidad de pensar oportunidades” adaptándose a la dinámica de la industria.
Además, la iniciativa prevé un aprendizaje horizontal, colectivo en donde haya debate sobre experiencias personales, y donde se prevé también un crecimiento individual.
Uno de los fundadores de Educación Cannabica, Gabriel Méndez, habló con Cannabica Argentina y comentó que la idea de la academia surgió hace unos 4 años aproximadamente.
“Comenzó con la firme idea de horizontalizar y promover el conocimiento cannábico mediante una enseñanza democratizada y buscando que el aprendizaje sea una construcción entre todos”, explicó el cultivador.
Méndez señaló que junto a su colega Ignacio Telias, cofundador del curso, vieron que la comunidad del ambiente cannábico “requería y demandaba información sobre el cultivo de cannabis”.
Cada capacitación cuenta con la entrega de una certificación una vez realizado el exámen final y presentado el proyecto final. Según indicaron, cada semana hay capacitaciones nuevas.
“Dentro de Academia Educa se van a encontrar con cursos sobre las diferentes temáticas del cannabis, de cultivo y de formas de consumirlo”, afirmó Gabriel quien indicó que avanzan en los temas a tratar a la par de que continúa el avance de la planta milenaria en Argentina.
En cuanto a la industria del cannabis en el país, Méndez aseguró que en los últimos 4 años hubo un buen impulso en el que el marco legal en Argentina y la región acompaña ese proceso.
“En esos pequeños marcos legales que se fueron abriendo pudimos apoyar al crecimiento, nosotros como academia educativa pero también los growers, los fitomejoradores, personas que estuvieron en la clandestinidad y pudieron crecer en esa etapa”, detalló el profesional del sector.
Sin embargo, el cultivador se mostró pesimista con el contexto actual que atraviesa Argentina ante el cambio de gobierno y la falta de anuncios por parte de la administración nacional actual con respecto a la industria del cannabis y el cáñamo.
Hasta el momento, Educación Cannábica llevó a cabo más de 300 especializaciones de la planta y más de 8.000 personas recibieron capacitación sobre cannabis.
Los cursos cuentan con clases virtuales toda la semana y aulas presenciales en donde se desarrollan trabajos de investigación junto a profesionales del sector, además de eventos gratuitos para la comunidad.
Academia Educa 2024
Gabriel afirmó que de cara a este nuevo año que comienza, desde Academia Educa se proponen seguir con el impulso del curso y con el objetivo de avanzar en capacitaciones enfocadas en soberanía alimentaria, la reducción de la huella de carbono o dejar una huella positiva y una lucha contra el cambio climático.
“Creemos que desde el concepto de growing podemos enfrentar y hacernos cargo de todo lo que se hizo mal en el planeta y empezar a revertirlo”, señaló el cultivador sobre las capacitaciones.
Además, informó que durante el 2023 estuvieron por España para comenzar un proceso para establecer los cursos presenciales en el país europeo. “Hoy en día nuestras capacitaciones son brindadas a países de toda la región y España”, afirmó Gabriel y agregó: “Pronto se vienen los cursos presenciales en Madrid”.
Méndez detalló que el año pasado comenzaron con 15 personas en el equipo y terminaron con 40. “El objetivo es que siga creciendo en 2024, tenemos diferentes áreas de trabajo y el equipo de profesores que es el orgullo más grande que tenemos, hay 15 profesionales de diferentes temáticas entre agrónomos, químicos, médicos y demás brindando capacitaciones”, concluyó.
