    Finalizó la construcción del primer laboratorio piloto de producción de cannabis medicinal en Corrientes

    La empresa Caá Cannabis confirmó la finalización de la obra mediante un video institucional en redes sociales.

    Corrientes ya cuenta con el primer laboratorio piloto de producción de cannabis medicinal. Allí se realizarán los procesos de extracción de principios activos del cannabis, como también la elaboración de aceite y productos derivados. Así, lo dio a conocer el ministro de Producción y presidente de Caá Cannabis, Claudio Anselmo, a través de un video difundido en redes sociales.    

    Anselmo detalló que recibieron “la obra del laboratorio piloto construido por la empresa Arca en tiempo y forma”. Destacó la calidad de la obra y remarcó que “este es un gran paso adelante en este proyecto”.

    “Este laboratorio va a estar destinado a hacer todos los procesos de extracción de los principios activos del cannabis medicinal y la elaboración a partir de ello del aceite fundamentalmente y los productos derivados para uso tanto medicinal y eventualmente otros usos alternativos. Desde Caá Cannabis, de esta manera seguimos innovando e invirtiendo en productos medicinales”, describió el funcionario provincial.

    En mayo pasado, el Gobierno de Corrientes, presentó el primer lote experimental de aceite de cannabis para ensayo clínico -CBD Full Spectrum-. También reveló los avances en materia de proceso de cultivo, cosecha, poscosecha y secado, en el predio del Centro Tecnológico de Producción ubicado sobre la Ruta Nacional 12 en inmediaciones del acceso a la ciudad de Corrientes.

    Se conoció entonces que el proyecto cuenta con unas 2500 plantas de cannabis para la elaboración de aceite y otros derivados medicinales. El propio gobernador Gustavo Valdés, anunció entonces, que en Goya se instalará un laboratorio modelo para avanzar con la producción del aceite medicinal.

    Se trata de una Sociedad del Estado provincial dedicada a la producción, fomento e investigación de cannabis con fines medicinales y terapéuticos. Intervienen en el proyecto el Gobierno de Corrientes, a través de los Ministerios de Producción y Salud Pública, profesionales del INTA, la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste a través de las facultades de Ciencias Agrarias, Ciencias Exactas, y Medicina, la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalén de Israel, el Gobierno de Jujuy, la empresa Cannabis Patagónico y la firma Brest & Brest.
