    Kicillof apuesta por la industria del cannabis medicinal en la Provincia

    El gobernador de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, presentó un proyecto de ley en la Cámara de Diputados provincial para legalizar la producción y el cultivo personal de cannabis con fines medicinales, terapéuticos e industriales.

    El gobierno bonaerense se mostró interesado en acompañar los avances científicos en torno al uso medicinal de la planta para beneficio de los ciudadanos que lo utilizan. Además, en el documento que lleva la firma del gobernador, se hace un repaso histórico sobre la planta y se expresa la necesidad de una nueva legislación.

    Con la salud pública como principal objetivo, el proyecto de Kicillof apuesta también a la industria cannábica como un “incentivo para la reactivación económica en todo el territorio de la provincia”, pensándolo sobre todo en un escenario post pandemia de Covid 19.

    El documento presentado contempla el cultivo personal en hogares y agrupaciones cannábicas, la creación de un banco de semillas y genéticas de la planta, la distribución gratuita en hospitales y centros de salud, la producción pública y privada y la investigación científica.

    Entre otras cosas, el gobierno bonaerense propone la creación de la Agencia Provincial del Cannabis (APC) que será la que regule, ordene y dé pie al cumplimiento de la ley de cannabis medicinal provincial y funcionará como nexo con el Estado Nacional para firmar convenios y llevar a cabo políticas en conjunto.

    Además, se creará el Registro Provincial del Cannabis bajo la órbita del APC (con sede en La Plata) que dependerá del Ministerio de Gobierno, dirigido por Teresa Garcia con el objetivo de evitar cultivos clandestinos y la venta de productos de baja calidad.

    También se creará el Programa de Cultivo Solidario, con el que se trabajará con organizaciones cannábicas para capacitar y dar cursos de cultivo y producción de aceites. Y, por primera vez, se permitirá el uso del cannabis en mascotas.

    El proyecto se trataría en Diputados el martes 22 de diciembre y desde el oficialismo esperan conseguir el apoyo de Juntos por el Cambio para tratarlo sobre tablas y que salga este año.
